I hate hearing about other people's dreams. But here is one of mine:
I was walking around New York when my cell phone rang. Who was on the other line? Oh, Stephon Marbury, of course!
Me: Hey Stephon, what's up?
Marbury: Spence, man, we gotta talk. I know that you basically ran things down in Phoenix and you have D'Antoni's ear in New Yeark and I wanna know where I'm at, what with the signing of Duhon and everyone saying he's the starter and all."
Me: Stephon, come on, man. You know I don't know much about all that.
Marbury: You do!
Me: Okay, look, we're running a different kind of ship this time around. We think you're a tremendous talent, but we need folks in our system who play our way. We like Chris, we like you, and we think we're headed in the right direction. But we've all got to be pulling on the same rope.

I told my friend this dream. He said the following:
"I like that even in your subconscious life you're forced to manage the emotions of self-centered people who overestimate their own importance."
